Prashna means a question. In this system the chart is cast for the moment a question is asked, and that chart answers that one question. The birth chart of the person asking is not needed at all.
This is what makes Prashna useful in daily practice. Most people who come to an astrologer are not sure of their birth time, and many do not have it at all. Prashna does not ask for it. It works from the moment the question is asked, the place it is asked from, and the question itself.
This course teaches the Kerala system of horary astrology, in Hindi. It begins with the principles of Prashna itself and takes for granted that you can already read a chart.
